Training Held For Raising Voices For CWIS Promotion

A training course titled Strengthening Capacity of CBOs/CSOs to Raise Their Voices on CWIS/SMSS held on 4-5 September 2023. Honorable Chief Guest Md. Sohel Maruf, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC-General), Barishal inaugurated the 2-day training at the Association of Voluntary Actions For Society (AVAS) Training Center, Barishal. 30 participants including the Councilors of Barishal City Corporation, representative of DPHE, Conservancy Inspector, Teachers, CBO/CSO representatives, and representatives of youth organizations & FANSA- BD member organizations in the coastal belt participated in the training course. Attending the course, the participants expressed that the CWIS theme is new to them and they will contribute with their active participation in the promotion of CWIS and SMSS in the City Corporation area. The ADC-General assured his wholehearted cooperation in the implementation of the project.
